Freaky Friday

OK, so, it's freaky Friday the 13th. I just can't get motivated to do anything. There is a load of clothes in the dryer, clothes all over the couch. Dishes all over the kitchen and baby toys all over the living room. I don't even know where to begin. Do you know what this place is going to look like come Monday?

Eek!

Maybe a match will solve my problems?Just Kidding!!

(If my house goes up in smoke this weekend, it wasn't me, really!)

Happy Friday the 13th!!

check, check, check

So, I got the dishes done,
and the sink cleaned.
The island cleared off, yet again.
I even got the kitchen table cleaned off and polished.
And Haley volunteered to clean the bathroom!
Great job Haley!!!
Oh yeah, also got 2 1/2 loads of laundry done. (which basically means there's still clothes in the dryer.)
Now, I'll just start all over agian tomorrow.

Some of todays projects

I'm taking a little inspiration from Jamie, and posting the messy stuff I need to take care of today. I hope it will embarrass me into getting it cleaned up.
Here's that darn kitchen counter again. See, it was just a matter of days before it piled up again.
The dishes.
The laundry
what really chaps my hide, is that probably 1/4 of the clothes on the floor in the girls' room haven't even been worn.
This picture and the one before is actually not today's project. This will be the girls' project during track break in a few weeks. (if I haven't gone through with a trash bag for everything yet)

Lysol please!!!

I am so tired of germs and viruses and bacteria oh my!!
Justin has been throwing up since Thursday morning at 4:55. Poor little boy. Friday he was so lethargic, and add in diahhrea to the mix. JOY!! I took him into the childrens clinic this morning. The nurse says there is a virus going around. So the doctor said to put him on just pedialite for the next 12-24 hours, and cut out the breast milk for the next 24-48 hours. i guess there's too much sodium in breast milk, and he said they become a little lactose intolerant when they're sick. He also said to give him a little Emetrol, to help settle the tummy.
Well, something worked. Justin was getting back to his normal happy go lucky self when I got home from work this evening. I did nurse him though when I got home-he just wasn't taking too kindly to the idea of no mommy juice-which is the first thing he always gets when I get home from work. So far, it's stayed down. Keep your fingers crossed for me. He does still have the diahhrea though. Maybe he'll be staying home from church tomorrow. I don't feel like dealing with very leaky diapers in church.

Now what's going around?

So, both the babies woke up this morning with yucky runny noses. Jon said they were a little runny all weekend, but I had to work, so I guess I didn't really see it. By the time I got home both Saturday and Sunday evening, it was bedtime for them. Jon came home early from work today because he wasn't feeling too well. Then, this afternoon Justin started throwing up. So far, he hasn't kept anything down. I'm hoping it's just one of those quick little bugs that pass within 24 hours. We'll see how he does tomorrow. Now I get to look forward to Jason, Ashley and Haley catching it. Oh joy!

Sleep--What's that?

OK, so my precious little darling baby boys woke up at 4:30 this morning. This seems to be about their usual wake up time. It's 7:05 now, and they've been back to sleep for about 15 minutes. I really need to learn to get to bed earlier. Of course, last night I had to work, so that wasn't a possibility, but other nights--I need to be in bed by ten at the latest. We put them to bed around 7-7:30 usually. Maybe it's too early, but they stayed up till 9:00 the other day, and were still up around 4. So, I don't know. I have to get the girls up in about 20 minutes for school, otherwise I'd be going back to bed myself. It's just as well-I'd just be really cranky when I got up again. :>)
So, here's my list of things to do today:

  • get the girls off to school

  • do the dishes

  • vacuum the floor

  • play with the babies

  • sweep/mop the kitchen

  • clean my bathroom

  • laundry (at least 2 loads)

  • play with the babies

  • call my VT companion

  • walk to the store for a few things

  • get supper ready

  • go to work :<(

I'll probably get maybe, two things on that list done-the girls to school and go to work. j/k

Hopefully I'll at least get the dishes and the laundry done-those are my usual accomplishments each day.

Guess I should get started, sitting here isn't getting it done. :>)
