My Bluelight Special

So, we met at Kmart, where we both worked. It took him a while to work up the nerve to ask me out. That, and he was waiting for a paycheck.
Our first date lasted 12 hours!!!!! We did so much that day. He picked me up...at Kmart and we went to Burger King for lunch, then to the mini putput. We played miniature golf, bumper boats, and race cars. After that, we took in a movie..."Unchained Heart" and we went bowling. We ended up with McDonalds if I remember right, at around 11:00 that night. I guess we just hit it off.

We went on more dates.....

We became "an item".....

He broke up with me.....

He got jealous when he saw me talking to other guys, and we made up.....

Finally, after a couple of years of dating, and yes, living together, he finally asked me to marry him. Wrote it in lipstick on the bathroom mirror, then waited for me to come home from work.

Of course, I said "yes".

I laughed during our vows, at the part where the official asked if I would honor and "obey". We have it on video tape. I think I was just nervous. Then, when we were done, he asked me my last name. I said...."Mortensen". He looks at Jon, and said: "You need to teach her her name."

Anywho,

The rest, as they say, is history.
