Mother's Day Bounty

I had such a nice, relaxed and laid back Mother's Day. It was truly enjoyable.
Well, if you don't count the aggravation at church. Jason and Justin have been a little under the weather lately, so they were a little rough to deal with during Sacrament yesterday.
Ashley made me a boatload of fun little things for Mother's Day. She's SO creative. She really enjoys origami. Whenever we go to the library she usually checks out at least one book on the subject.
Look at the adorable paper flour she crafted. Cards from Haley (the two on the left) and Ashley (the one on the right)

Ashley created this one from beads.

OK, here is everything that Ashely created...
  1. Rosy Rivers lotion--on the back it says "with real rose petals". She filled a soap dispenser with lotion and rose petals. I'm not sure how long it's going to keep. But, creative nonetheless.
  2. Minty Mirage body spray. Another one of her very own creations. I'm not really sure what's inside, but it DOES smell faintly like mint. Hopefully in using it my crazy peppermint fetish won't return.
  3. An adorable little paper framed picture. Very clever.
  4. A Japanese card. Another origami item.
  5. A very sweet corsage she made in Activity Days. Really very cute. I think I'm going to attach it to the next fabric purse I make for myself.
  6. That cute beaded card again.
  7. And a lovely little necklace she created from beads.

There's also a couple of bookmarks in there.

Jon made me breakfast and dinner. So nice not to worry about those little details.

That frying pan there on the right is one of several he got for me. I requested these. I love them. SO much better than the pathetic old things we've been using--the nonstick surface had really begun to wear away. I love the red!

I requested tostadas and corn on the cob for dinner.
Looks pretty good huh?
It was!
Hope you all had a lovely and restful Mother's Day!

Looks like you had a great Mother's Day. I LOVE the girls gifts, so fun! Dinner looked delish too!
BTW I think your hair would look adorable short. It's always fun to change your hair, plus it'll grow back quick if you don't love it.
