So here's the post all about Haley's birthday bashes.
Actual birthday, we just had some family over, had supper....
lasagne, salad and a boatload of garlic toast. Chocolate cake, decorated with white chocolate chip skull and crossbones. Ashley did the decorating. Not bad....
We had her party with some of her friends on Saturday-my birthday.
Cause nothing says happy birthday Mikki like a housefull of screaming 8 year olds. :)
You might have seen the cake already, I had to put it on Facebook. Best cake I've ever assembled.
Pretty easy too. Found the idea on the Family Fun magazine website.
Pirate swordfighting, with breadsticks.
A whole gaggle of pirates. Gang of pirates? Group of Pirates? (shrug).
Pirates eating pizza....
And the cake, post mortem....
I was glad when it was over.

That is a great theme! You are clearly an expert cake maker.
You did a fantastic job on the cake! You've got skillz, girl! Such cute pictures and it looks as if the wild crowd had a blast!!
You did a great job on the cake!!! I love it!!!
Arrgh that looks like a lot of delicious Pirate Booty :)
I think you're halfway to sainthood. It takes a couple of miracles - putting up with kids is one of them - all you need now is dealing with older people and you're in!
I think I would have been glad it was over too.
Too bad you had to be so busy on your birthday, but what a sweet party it looked like it was.
Awesome cake!
Happy Birthday Mikki!!
You are definitely the saint-hostess with the mostess--my goodness!!
Oh my gosh Mikki - What an awesome party!! I bet Haley had a blast!!
You rocked the cake - I wish I could dive through the computer screen and have some (I am totally craving chocolate!).
You are such a wonderful mother!!
Looks yummy and fun! I'm always so glad when those parties are over, too.
