Monday's do that to me too, and Tuesday's and Wednesdays....
Mikki...I live with my mother-in-law and I have learned to smile and say, "Oh my gosh, thank you so much, that is a great idea but John and I have talked about it and we are going to do________" or I say, "That is a great idea, I'll talk to John and see what he thinks." I like this approach because I am showing her that the final decission is between me and my husband, not her. Good Luck.
