Creativity

Thanks so much to my dear friend Jamie, for taking out pictures on Saturday. Here are just a few of the shots. She's such an awesome and creative person. Thanks Jamie!!!!

Didn't she do an awesome job?
Now, I have Christmas pictures to send out.
What a sweetheart!!

Thanks to Dolly--the girls got to be creative yesterday with some salt dough. They made Christmas decorations and ornaments with it. We baked 'em up, and here they are. These are Ashley's creations....(above)

And, these are Haley's.

Cute, no? Today they get to paint them. Yay, two days worth of crafting in one project. Love it!! Thanks for the great idea Dolly!!

My hubby can be so creative. We normally hang our Christmas stockings from our faux mantel, but with the boys this year getting into anything and everything they can get their little paws on, we figured we better not go that route. So, Jon hung our stockings high up on the wall.

So, what to do with our cute stocking holders? He thought it would be cute to hang something small from them anyway, with our pictures attached to each. So, I purchased some cheap little stockings from the dollar store, and last night, Jon printed out our pictures and attached them....

More creataivity.... My cute little monkey boys....

This little monkey got creative this morning....

I was laying in bed, listening to these two giggle and yell, and pound on the wall indicating they wanted out of their cribs. Next thing I know, I hear what I thought was their bedroom door opening and closing, so I drag myself out of bed, figuring one of their sisters has gone in to get them out of their cribs. I get to their door, and hear someone on the other side, knocking on the door--I don't hear their sister in there with them.

Mister smarty pants figured out how to get himself out of his crib. I think the sound I heard was him hitting the floor?!?!?!?!

No crying or screaming, so I guess he didn't hurt himself.

Yikes!!!

Now what? Should I put the mattress on the floor and forego the crib already??????

What a beautiful family picture. And the photo of the boys - they are looking so grown up! And I guess they are if they can get out of the crib by themselves - your fun is just beginning! Love the tiny stockings with your pictures too.

I love the idea of putting the stockings high on the wall. I haven't even put mine up yet, just because I didn't know what to do with them.

Do you have a recipe for salt dough? I tried to follow the links, but couldn't find a recipe. I've never done it before, but it looks fun!

So glad my son never tried to get out of the crib. I would have dreams about him showing up at the side of my bed in the middle of the night, though. :)

I like your little stockings with the pictures. So cute!

Oh my heck, I forgot about dough ornaments. I remember our dog, when I was little, ate them and then threw them up in the corner. They were glittered too! Gross.

I love all the pics.

Oh my gosh, this is too funny. My youngest sister did the exact same thing at about the same age.
No cry either. Just the fact that she could get out of bed this way anytime so my mother put a mattress on the floor.
Maybe I should send her over to your house to explain to your son why it is not a good idea.

I love your family pictures- they are so good! So Oh Heck is also called Mormon Bridge. It's sort of like hearts- not really. You have to bid on how many tricks you think you will take- based on trump, the strength of your hand...we'll have to play sometime. If we come back to Vegas that should be easy- otherwise not so much:-)

Your pictures turned out so good! Wow, I can't believe he didn't get hurt! Kids these days are just too smart and gutsy for their own good! OK so I had to open my stocking early. LOVED IT! Thank you so much. The snowman and bookmark were my absolute favorite! And I am sad to report that I actually ate all the chocolate! Everything was wonderful! Thank you thank you!

Ugh, I hate it when they can get out of the crib!! We had to put Luke in a bed at 18 months. I'm guessing Cole will follow suit! Isn't it funny how different boys are?
I can't believe how different the twins are starting to look from each other.
And I too, love the fam pics and the cute little stocking with the pictures. Good idea, think I'll copy it! :)

Great pics. love the one of the whole family.

I always fear the day my children can get out of their cribs. No more containing them once that happens. Oh how I miss the crib (esp for Carson!)

Now my problem will be keeping the older ones out of the crib while the baby is in it! They have taken a liking to climbing into the crib these days - go figure.
