Trying to catch up

Oh my gosh! It's been almost a whole week since I've posted anything. I can't believe that.

Things have gotten so hectic lately. I started up a new job, well, not really new. I'm working for the same place I was working for before, just a different company. Make sense? But now, I'm working full time, so it has really cut into my blogging time. :o(
Mostly it's affecting my ability to keep up with everyone else's blogs. I am SO far behind on my google reader it's not even funny. I'm thinking of just marking everything as read, and starting fresh. Only then, I'll probably have missed out on about a half dozen of everyone's posts. So, I'm still debating.
My girls are out of school for the entire month of December for track break. That's good, because at least I can spend some time with them in the mornings before I have to go to work. When they go back to school in January, I'm only going to be able to see them in the mornings before school. I'll have to leave for work before they get out of school, and I'll be home after they go to bed. I'm VERY disappointed about this. I'll only really get to spend any time with them on Saturday mornings and Sundays and Mondays, which are to be my days off. I am SO happy to have Sunday's off again though. So, there are good and bad things in this new job. The best probably is that I HAVE a job right now, in this unstable economy. So, I am very grateful for that.
Well, here are some pics of what we've been up to lately.
Finishing up those salt dough ornaments we started....

These are Haley's.....
Here are Ashley's,...I decorated a few too. Saturday night we were going to go to the Magical Forest, but it was SO windy, we figured we better wait. So we were naughty and went Sunday night.

Not the happiest of campers.....but isn't he a cutie!!??

OK, so blogger is taking FOREVER to upload pictures, and I'm tired, so I'll have to try to post more tomorrow. There's a funny picture with Santa, and more craft projects we've been working on.

Those ornaments look so fun! Glad to see you back. As long as you read all my posts, that's all that really matters. ;)

We went to the Magical Forest the day after Thanksgiving, but the train was broken down (which is the WHOLE reason we wanted to go cause the boys are nuts about trains!) so they gave us tickets to come back. We almost went again on Saturday, but couldn't bear the thought of the wind either. Maybe this weekend we can try again.

Those ornaments turned out cute! Take a pic of the tree so we can see how pretty they look on it :)

I so know the feeling...that was my Google Reader about 5 days ago. I ended up simply reading everyones most currant post and it went by suprisingly fast. Just remember that whatever you decide...blogging is supposed to be fun and entertaining, not a chore! :)

What fun pictures and I can't wait to see the Santa one!

It has been so long since we have been there. I used to volunteer there before I had kids. I was Frosty one year. The kids were so funny. I had to remember not to talk, because frosty is a boy. Looks like you had a lot of fun.

We've missed you, but I think everyone's a bit slow in blogville these days...

Sounds like fun. The ornaments are really cute. Glad you have a good job and don't have to work Sundays, even though the rest of the schedule may not be the best. :)

mikki, this has been my life for the past 3 months. Work work work and I have not blogged. I used to try to unwind by reading 5 posts a day in the beginninng or at night. But, couldn't even do that.

After some time, I gave myself the entire day and read 2 to 3 posts on everyone. I don't even look at google reader. If there was anything huge, I'd let ya know! LOL
