I feel much better today than I did yesterday, perhaps because of my stop at Target this morning for some shopping therapy. I found some cute stuff for my first ever blog giveaway. It was all I could do though, not to put everything back when I saw a whole slew of Stephanie Meyer's books on an endcap. I was sooooo tempted to buy all of them for little ol' me. But, I did not succumb to temptation.

So, without further ado, here is the giveaway....
Here are a few of my favorite things....

So, you get

  • a cute beachy tote, because I love purses.
  • A cute, bright melon color notebook for recording all your blog ideas, plus a pen
  • these adorable rose shaped earrings and chunky white bracelet
  • a pack of notecards- i love stationary
  • a sweet headband, for those bad hair days
  • Pink Paradise body mist and body lotion.
  • IceBreakers Pomegranate lemon-aid mints (I love these little guys)
  • who know, maybe I'll throw some chocolate in too.

So, here are the rules:

  1. leave me a comment in order to enter.
  2. leave a shout-out on your blog about the give-away, and you'll receive an extra entry. Just let me know so I don't miss it.
  3. The drawing will be on Saturday, August 9th.
  4. I will stick all the names in a (something) and have my sweet daughter pick one.
  5. Do you think it would be tacky if I entered too?

Wow, we have a lot in common! I also dislike killing bugs, although I'm usually the one to do it around here. I just hate to think that I'm ending something's life.

#11 is cute!
I would love to have a Mini Cooper, too. Someday when I'm rich and all my kids are grown up.

Fun giveaway!

I LOVE your 50 things- Who Knew? Colorado Springs is My DREAM place to live (and I grew up in CO); I feel guilty killing bugs too; And you MUST get your patriarchal blessing- my Mother in law didnt' get hers until she was 40. No idea why because she was born and raised in the church and she's not around to ask. So happy to learn even more about you!!

It was fun to get to know more about you! I already think that you are an amazing person, but this post just proves it! So much fun, I hope you win!

What a great first post for me to read-- I feel like I know you better than some of the peeps I've been reading for a year with your not-quite-one-hundred things about you. Pepsi? YUM, miss dancing? I blame a dance-less husband for 30 xtra pounds. I grew up in Page, so St. George is where we hunted men (high school), Hugh Jackman in ANYTHING--YUM. Fun POst and CONGRATS on your 100th!!!

Just so ya know, the 4.0 went out the window when you got pregnant the 1st time! Those babies suck the brain cells right out of your head and they never return!!!! At least that's my excuse :) Here are some fun similarities I found...Sam Elliot used to babysit my ex husband, I love to bowl too, went to interior design school (never did anything with it though), have 2 big brothers, and LOVE the Pepsi WAY too much. BTW....standing behind a cow....that's funny. I've never heard that one before!!! Your shout out is on it's way to my blog now :)

#11: So I am not the only weirdo when praying? I often say a quick prayer when I open my eyes, before really praying just to say hello.
#23 I did the same when I was a child in my grand father's garden. I still miss the taste of it.
#40 When you do please follow my advise: say as little as you can about yourself. This way there will be as little "interferences" as possible and the patriarch won't have any other choice but to pay carefully attention to the spirit.

oh and i totally think you should enter your own give-away!!! do it! :)

Great giveaway. I'm jealous about the Donny Osmond thing I always thought he was so cool. The coolest person that ever taught me in Seminary was Mark Eubank (the channel 5 weather man. His son Kevin, who is now the channel five weather man, went to my high school.)
Thanks for stopping by my blog. I link people here so that they can enter too.

I love your list of 50 thing we "supposedly" never wanted to know about you. Loved it! It is funny, because people tend not to be open enough to share things like that... I really liked it. I also love Hugh Jackman in xmen (and also in Kate & Leopold, he's just too cute). And getting married at Circus Circus. WOW! I guess life if full of surprises and so are you. I couldn't even begin to list 50 things about me. :D
Well, I love the things for the giveaway also... I think it's a really good idea, and people will be drawn to your blog as well :D
Thanks for all your comments on my blog... I really appreciate them.
