Heebie Jeebie!!

Ok this is the reason I will NOT ever move to Texas, or Florida, or any other place where the bugs are big. Do you see the size of this beetle? He's as long as my finger!! He's dead, otherwise, I would not have been anywhere near him. Saw him yesterday caught in a spider web in the front yard. I thought it was a cockroach, which would have been soooo much worse. I was very relieved to see it was a beetle, and that he was outside.

I once had an escape artist cockroach living in my dorm when I was in college. It was horrific. That beetle is intense though!

I'm OK around bugs, but, lizards (holy moly!) that's a totally different story.

I can't believe you got that close to it - dead or not - I got the heebies just looking at the picture! How you got that thing out of the spider web and onto the ground is an even more disturbing thought!!!!!! If they're that big here, you know they are like 10 x that big in Texas. Ok...now my skin will be crawling in my sleep tonight - Thanks alot Mikki!!!! LOL :)

Merrianne: my hubby would have been peeling my off the ceiling. that's crazy.
HerShabyness: I'll take a lizard over a cockroach any day. Crazy huh'?
LaDawn: I still had the heebyjeebies last night after leaving work and getting into my car. I thought I felt one crawling on my head. I used a garden tool to pull it out of the spiderweb.
