Random thoughts

Kids are too funny.
We were just watching news, and the local station did a quick update. They were talking about Olympic coverage, and the announcer mentioned something about one of the competitions being in a gym I guess- I kind of missed exactly what she said, but Haley says "Can we go to that cause it's in the gym?" I said, no because it's in China, which is like on the other side of the world. She gives me this funny look and says "That would be a long walk!"
Yup, Haley you're right about that.

How do you know when you're getting old, fat, or ugly? Or a combo of all three?
When you go to the trouble of holding a door open for 3 guys with their hands full and you don't even get a thank you. Sheesh. And they were grown men, so they should have known better.

I wouldn't call you old, fat, or ugly. I would call the guys rude. People should be thanked no matter their age or appearance! It's just common courtesy.

I agree. You're not old, fat, or ugly. They were rude, crude, and their mama's didn't teach them right!

You should have yeld "you're welcome!"
And why in the world did you hold the door for them?

I think for you americans the rule is to ask permission to add someone on our blogrole but for us french it is the opposite, it is considered nice to be added on someone's role and this is why we never ask permission (we just assume the person will be thrilled).
So let me do it a french-american way:
Is it ok if you remain on my blogroll?

Thanks guys. They were rude. A simple thanks shouldn't be that hard. Of course, when you offer service I guess it should be because you want to, not because you expect thanks right? So, I should just live and give.
Merrianne, you crack me up. thanks!
Backandthen, I love the french way. I agree it's an honor to be added to someone's blogroll. I like your french/american way. It works too.

I like Merrianne's idea of a good butt whooppin. Then maybe their mammas need to be smacked too for not teaching them better!!! What a bunch of LOOSERS.

We all have the same idea - I was going to say you aren't old, fat, or ugly - they are nothing but rude! And even if you were old, fat, or ugly, they still shouldn't be rude! Let's just hope they didn't pass that rude trait onto the next generation!

My sons all know that men hold the door for woman. They get a good talkin' to if they don't. (It's really bad manners for any guy to not hold the door for you!!)
