Silent Auction to benefit NieNie and her family

nie and her beautiful family

Information regarding this cause can be found in the links at the right side of this blog. All money raised goes directly to the fund.
Here is the scripture tote I made. It's made of a sturdy cotton fabric.
It measures 13.5" wide x 10.5" tall x 3" deep
I've lined the inside, and included a couple pockets for pens/pencils, cell phone and whatever else.
It will hold your scriptures plus church binders. It's pretty roomy. I have the large quad and it will fit in there along with my RS manual and a binder too.

So, if you're interested leave a comment with your bid. I'll start the bidding at $10, and if you want to participate, just increase each prior bid by $1, keep checking back to increase your bid if you want to. I will run this auction through Sunday. I wll announce the winner on Monday morning. You can then donate the amount directly to the fund, then email me the confirmation number at firelein6(at)cox(dot)net. I will then get this right out in the mail to you. I will cover the cost of shipping.
If this isn't your cup of tea, but you would like to donate, or check out other auctions--either click the donate button on the side bar over there, or you can visit design-mom's blog for more information on other auctions being held. There are a ton of them available!!
thanks for participating!!
If I've forgotten anything, just let me know in your comments.

Ok, I'm starting the bidding at $10. If nobody outbids me I'll be #1 sad that I won't have made much for this cause, but #2 be ok with it, because I'll probably add a bit more and donate it, plus have a nifty sctipture tote.

I can't outbid. I had this money on my paypal account that I did not really need so I sent it to them. good thing they made paypal available.
And yes I still have an internet connection but I don't know for how long. I may put another post today, I really don't know.

Ok, this may sound odd. But I've been outbid at so many of these auctions that I"m trying a new tactic. Also because I'll be asleep way before htis ends (Hey-I'm at least 5 hours ahead in England). So here is my rebid. If someone outbids me at $45, I'm willing to keep outbidding in $5 increments till $60. After that I'm out. Hope that all makes sense! And thanks!

Congratulations to Ryann, with the winning bid of $45. Just email me your confirmation number after you donate to Nie's fund, along with your adddress, and I'll get this out to you. Thanks so much to everyone who participated. It's a great cause. :o) Please keep your prayers going out for this wonderful family.

Very cool I want to do an auction too, but I don't have any bags made up? Think I could auction off a bag with only a photo of it an a promise to make it by October 5th or something? (I'm behind on my current orders due to moving...)

I LOVE the pencil organizer pockets! And how are you folding down the top? I love the way you see the outside on the inside like that??

And if you want tips on making the straps look a bit more 'finished' let me know! But it all looks FAB to me!

PS what are you using for interfacing? that really stumped me for a while?
