I love my hubby, but...

OK, no buts. I really do love my hubby. He's the best. HE's always game when I want to re-arrange the furniture, or switch the kids' rooms around.
Which, is what I want to do. The boys have the front most room in the house, the girls have the back. So I want to swap them around. The boys would be better in the back, away from all the noise and commotion, especially at bedtime.
So here's the problem....
When Jon put the girls' bed together, he glued them. So, now, they can't be taken apart-at.all.
And of course, they're just a smidge too big to get through the door.

So, I managed to get half of one through the door, but I cannot get the other half through.
So much for tackling this little project by myself today. I think if I could get the door off the hinge, I could just make it. We'll see how enterprising I am. Wish me luck!

oh my... too funny. But don't worry, I'm not laughing at you- only with you. Because I've had a similar situation with a chair.

good times.

and good luck.

You can do it, Mikki! Get a hammer and a punch. Put the punch (or even a big nail) under a hinge and tap it up with the hammer. Once you get all three out, the door will come off - be ready to grab it. Your projects sound just like mine - you want it done, and you want it done now! Good luck!

The puzzler in me keeps looking at this thinking, surely if you twist.... but I'm sure you tried every angle.

Oh dang! I hate it when stuff like that happens...and it's usually because my hubby did something without thinking about "what if later on....".

I feel your pain but am also feeling the smiles--sorry. I have a saw you could borrow and then your husband could glue it again....

I HATE when that happens. I always take on projects thinking I'm all tough and creative and then get stuck in a situation like that. So how did it turn out?
*hugs*
