Sunday night and I should be in bed

I am so grateful for the internet!
I've been grumbling all weekend about the fact that I had to work both Saturday and Sunday and had to miss General Conference. In fact, I have to work on Sunday for the next 6 weeks or so. I'm not particularly happy about this. But, we're short a person at work, and my boss needs two days off. Since I'm the only other person available to cover for her, and weekends are the only times I can work days-well, doesn't leave any other options. :o(
Anywho, back to the subject.
I'm so grateful to the internet, and especially for LDS.org, It's so nice to be able to go there and catch what I missed. I love being able to see our sweet President Monson speak to us...
I love the Mormon Tabernacle Choir. I could just listen to them forever.
taking notes....

I love this dish. Mmmm mmmm good.
Panzanella.
The recipe is in my recipe box if you want to try it.
It calls for champagne vinegar, which we didn't have on hand,

so, we used white wine vinegar instead. Tasted great. Here's the thing, I thought, and correct me if I'm wrong, that all the alcohol would be cooked out of the vinegar. Is it? Cause I got to tell you, I got pretty loopy after supper tonight. We've had this before and used either the champagne vinegar or white wine vinegar and it's never done that before, so maybe something else is screwy with me? I'm still feeling a bit dizzy and it's been a few hours. So, maybe my blood sugar is low or something.

I have officially joined the Healthy Divas!! I've been wanting to join forever, but have been putting it off, because, well, I'm a procrastinator for starters, and because I hate committing to something knowing I'll probably fall off the wagon. But, I just decided to do it. I've been making more of an effort lately to get a little more exercise so I've really already sort of begun. Now I'm just committing to stick to it, and to try making better food choices.

I also need to pick back up with the 100 push-up challenge. Only this time, I'll be doing the modified version. None of those manly man push-ups for me. I think that's why I stopped doing it after week #2, too hard. I'm pretty sure I can do a hundred modified push-ups in six weeks.

Well, enough for now. Off to bed for me, maybe.

Hope everyone has a great week!

Glad you're getting to catch up on conference. It was so wonderful. Sorry to hear about the cruddy work schedule. That's always a bummer.

I'm pretty sure the alcohol burns off if it's cooked long enough so unless you were swigging it you can probably chalk up the loopinesss to your hectic schedule, lack of sleep, children (we all know that children have a knack for sucking all of the good brain cells out of you and leaving you with mush at times!), and stress. Loopy or not, it sounds like it was worth it - YUMM!

wanna have a green candy from Netherland after your meal?

Alcohol is pretty fragile and evaporates when heared so don't worry. A Little may remain but nothing that I would consider breaking a commandment. You may have become sensitive that's all.

Working on Sundays is never fun. :P

Yes - thank goodness there is LDS.org! You can find most ANYTHING on that site - it's WONDERFUL! :)

Your Dish looks YUMMY! I'll have to try it!

ALL vinegar, including white vinegar, is made from alcohol. However, all the alcohol is gone by the time it becomes vinegar. So you're safe, whether your vinegar comes from champagne or apple cider. No alcohol. Can you tell I looked this up once? :)

Yeah, I had never heard of vinegar having any sort of alcohol in it. Interesting.

I'm sorry I've been so slow to thank you for the shout out about my giveaway. Hopefully, a double entry will make up for it.
